Scotland 2012 Discovery 4 3.0 SDV6 HSE Auto Firenze RedDiscovery 4
[For Sale] 2012MY D4 HSE (Firenze Red)

Stunning Firenze Red 2012my Discovery 4 SDV6 HSE (8-speed)
Price £14,000
2-owner car. I have owned this car for 8 years, having purchased it from another forum member.
Car has covered 106,000 miles as of yesterday (6/4/2021)
Long list of factory options, including

Grand Black Wood
Logic 7 (premium) stereo
Timed climate remote
Extended black roof rails
Privacy glass
20” black/silver diamond cut alloys
Full size spare
Rear E-diff (rare and expensive factory option)
Adaptive Xenon headlights.

Non factory additions

Genuine LR N&S towing electrics
Sill tread plates
Series 111 modified mud flaps.
Black grille, side vents and smoked indicators (all original take-off parts included in sale)

Good bits:
The car has wanted for nothing during my ownership, and has a full service history. Receipts are from Team Valley Land Rover, Mastora Independent LR, and our own MMP Land Rover (aka Disco Mikey)
Belts were done on time at 7 years, and fresh service and MOT were both carried out at the end of January. It has also had a full gearbox flush (MMP LR)
Among a whole host of very recent work, the car has had replacement brake pipes, replacement egr pipes, lower steering column replacement, replacement TSOV, regassed A/C and much more. Tyres have loads of tread left. (2 were new in July last year, and the car hasn’t gone far)
In my opinion the exterior of the car is in excellent condition with regard to age and mileage etc * In my view the interior is exceptional, and, apart from a slight scuff on the drivers seat side booster, shows very little sign of wear. (Anyone that knows me knows I look after my car)
The car drives like the day I bought it.

*Not-so good bits:
Wheels have no kerbing or gouges, but cosmetically a couple could do with a tidy where the lacquer has peeled away.
There is a small supermarket trolley dink in the passenger rear door, and slight rubbing around a rear light cluster where I badly fitted a light guard.

Now, the deal sweetener
IF the asking price is met, the sale will include
4 very lightly used LR 19” wheels. Purchased new by me, they were used for one season only and have been protected by Plastidip from day 1 (easily removable spray coating)
Genuine LR roof bars and keys
Genuine LR removable towbar and key.
Genuine LR heavy duty mats throughout the car, including the boot.
RLD spare wheel protector
RLD sump guard
Blackvue full HD/WiFi DG500GW front camera with Power Magic hardwiring.
Spare (uncoded) remote for the timed climate.
Unused front seat protective covers.

Quite a bundle....I wouldn’t like to think what that lot cost me Laughing

This stunning Discovery has featured in the Disco 3/4 calendar, the Britpart calendar 2019 and the Britpart parts catalogue !
Car is located in the TD14 area (South east Scotland)

PM for more photos/questions etc
Plate not included

"Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

Locking rear E-diff
RLD spare wheel protector & sump guard
Extended roof rails
Series 111 mudflaps
Black side tubes,grill and vents
Timed climate remote
Hids4u interior lights

D4 Firenze my2012 HSE
D3 Java 2005 SE manual (sold, sadly, thanks for the memories)
1966 '88 Series 2a....still starts in the morning better than I do...

Yeah, first thing I did....love the black and red combo.
I’ll be very sad to see it go. It’s the longest I’ve owned a car by a mile, but it’s time for a change Thumbs Up

Not sure...usual list of suspects, but at the moment it’s probably between a FFRR and an X5 hybrid...A BMW !..... stone him Laughing
I should just get the current Discovery, as it does everything I’d need or ever want, but try as I might, I can’t get on with the design of the exterior (says the man looking at an X5 Embarassed )

You'll not be able to get there as he'll be sat out in the middle of the road, or in the middle lane of the motorway Laughing

Worst car I’ve owned was an Audi A6...considering I’m looking at a FFRR or a BMW that may change Laughing

This is the most gorgeous D4 ever made and I can’t believe you are selling it...

Was gutted after seeing yours having just bought a causeway grey HSE Luxury....definitely a stunning car... had to buy daughter a Firenze FL2 after seeing yours!

Try an RRS..... not quite as practical but a deeply impressive car! I’m now on my third since the D4...
