Hi Everyone,
Firstly a huge thank you to all the people who have had this service done so far, it’s been my pleasure to improve a very small part of your vehicle.
Due to ever restrictive time constraints from work and also starting a family, I have less and less time to do these. So, I have decided that once my current stock of key blanks has dried up I will no longer offer this service.
It takes considerable time and effort to find a reliable and consistent supplier overseas to supply good quality blanks, as I chose not to adopt the easy eBay route – I found the quality to be very poor compared.
In the short term, this service will carry on but it won’t be indefinite. If you’d like to get yours done, just PM me or leave a message on one of the threads.

Hi are you still able to do the key service? A while back I put the spare through the washing machine and killed it.
Is this something you can fix? The car is being part exchanged at the end of the week and completely forgot about the key! So hoping to sort it out

On refection i have a feeling the key is probably beyond being fixed. The place we are trading the car in is passing it on to someone else to sell as its too old for their stock.
Without making it sound like it's someone else's problem, I think it's best to just let them sort it out for the next owner, I dare say they will have contacts to sort a new one cheaper than LR themselves.
