[For Sale] 300Tdi Discovery 1.
One of the very last 300tdi produced. Had this to go and prep to do some off reading/greenlaning. But after having it on the ramp I’ve realised (for me) it’s too good to destroy like that.
It drives absolutely perfect (in fact better than my discovery 3!) Auto box selects all gears very smoothly. Engine pulls very cleanly with no smoke, starts on the button. There’s no knocks or creaks from the suspension etc.
Interior wise it’s almost perfect, there’s a couple of marks (not holes) and the headlining has started to sag a bit, but it’s certainly at the point where a bit of spray adhesive will Sort it out.
Exterior wise, there are a few marks, worst of all on the rear corner just above the bumper (as seen in the picture) there is a bit of corrosion on the bottom of the door. THE CHASSIS HAS NOT BEEN WELDED! Nor does it need it. It was waxoyled by the previous owner.
It is an AC model, it’s missing an idler but I can sort this, the compressor is free as is the clutch and the system is charged, so no reason why it wouldn’t work.
It’s certainly got to be the best 300tdi I’ve seen personally, pretty much why I bought it, however I didn’t quite realise how good it was at the time.

Did this sell really quickly? Just checking in case the sold marker was a mistake as the ad only went up two days ago!

It certainly did. Sold to the first person who viewed it, and I had a list of 7 people wanting to view it if it didn’t sell!

Wow. Thats good. Shame for me but not a suprise as it looks really neat and tidy. I hope they dont cut it up and keep it nice and original!
