Good question. I assume that your 2007/8 D3 already has a TPMS system fitted and operational?
I’m not 100% certain bit I believe the earlier system used a different frequency to the valves above.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

Hi Patman
Hope u don’t mind me asking but would also be interested if u can retrofit TPMS plse onto a D3
As I understand it, pre 2014 models would only tell you the pressures were ok, where as the later ones would actually tell you the pressures. When I bought a set from LT which worked perfectly in the MY16 as others would not work.

^Well remembered.
I used to get genuine used TPMS valves, as in they had been fitted to vehicles delivered to a dealer and then removed, so really as good as new.
The dealer would fit massive bling alloys, with brand new valves and tyres. Seemed a bit stuoid, but it suited us.
The above are the last set I bought. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

Having had a dig around the site and other places. The results contradict each other. One site says that I’d need to ecu’s in first place and others say no need. So I’m in limbo at momentPatman

There was a group buy here for an aftermarket TPMS system that worked well.

They were fitted to a Land Rover vehicle at the factory. So yes, they’ll have been activated. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE
