FOR SALE - BAS Remap interface £299

Guys,

I am selling my D3 at the end of the month, Crying or Very sad so want to advertise a BAS Remap Interface for sale on here. The module was purchased from Pete at Bell Autos in March 2009 and has been protected and looked after since. As I am probably going to get rid of my car via webuyanycar.com, the BAS interface needs a new home. For whoever buys it, it will be wiped clean and then Pete will re-flash the module with a remap of your choice for £150 plus VAT, it will then work perfectly on your own vehicle.

When I first ran the flash into my car (very easy and simple to do to upload/download and restore to standard) I instantly noticed a difference, it pulls like a train away from junctions and roundabouts and has knocked 2 seconds off the 0-60 time, as well as providing smooth power through the range, it also has increased the mileage I get from a tank of gas by around 10% or so.

I am not sure how much to ask for, Pete recommended £300-350, so I will put it on here for £299 and may consider sensible offers. P&P will be actual costs not an inflated price to make the purchase price higher, anticipate around £5-10.

The unit costs £619 + shipping new, so you will save £169 by buying mine! Very Happy

PM is an offer and not full asking price so it is still available....

I will keep it on here for a week or so and whoever offers asking price will get it first, then those who PM'd will be offered the BAS at their offer price. I hope everyone is ok with that and it is in the spirit of this forum, its just that I need the money for my family as things have gone a bit wrong right now.

hi does this come with the operating instructions ? is it simple to use , can it store more than one map ie towing map , every day map ?

Operating instructions on the BAS website.
Very simple to use - takes a minute or so to up/download.
Can store 3 maps - usually standard, eco and performance,

Hi if anyone is interested I'm selling my BAS interface bought from Pete in Jan 10. Comes with lead and instructions. Absolutely as new. See kaisers post for detail. £299 + shipping at cost. I have confirmed with pete that he can reprogram for your car for £150+vat. This is THE best upgrade / mod. It makes a lot of difference to the driveability and to the economy .
