[For Sale] D3 Sump Guard
LISTING UPDATED
Hi All,
I have a genuine LR sump/steering guard for sale, I thought this version fitted both D3 and early D4 but I’ve been reliably informed it is just D3 and is suitable for those of us without a winch. As you’ll see from the photo it’s currently fitted to my D3 without any fixing issues. No dents or damage bar general wear to be expected.
Only selling as swapping for a different version.
I’ve added a photo of it as fitted (sorry it’s not the clearest photo, it was taken for posterity after a much needed annual wash!)

I’ve not taken it off yet, but can add more photos once removed if needed.
Cant remember what I paid for it but believe they go for about £300ish new. Asking £120 collected as this seems to be the going rate. Located in bucks near Windsor and Maidenhead.
I need to have a parts clear out so will be adding more parts over the weekend.
Thanks

Bump on this.
I’ve got it off and swapped out now. Easy job.
Just gauging any interest before I take more photos.

Hi, I'll take this when current covid restrictions allow. I'm about 45 mins away from your area.
This is my first post on Disco3 so I'm afraid I can't PM you.

Yes, I bought a high mileage HSE for a very good price, with some known issues. Over the last 2 years I've taken the time to rebuild forward diff and transfer case in my shed, while replacing all control arms, rebuilding the compressor, installing D4 screen and reverse cam, brake discs etc. As well fixing leaking sun roof drains, 3 wire splice etc etc.
It now has 202000 miles but I have every confidence in it, I green lane regularly (Covid restrictions permitting) and can spend all day out on Salisbury with no concerns. I am hoping on a Morocco or Arctic Circle trip as soon as I can.
Hence, now I am looking at bolt on bits, sump guard, tree sliders etc.
