[For Sale] Prospeed Mk2 Roof Rack & Ladder, GAP IID, Draw+Bed Extension

Selling parts as I’ve just scrapped my Disco3. Had the pleasure of the engine self destructing going up a hill... no issues, to a small knock, to catastrophic engine failure with a fist sized hole in the block... Thumbs Up

Location - Ringwood, BH24.

Parts are listed as collection only, however buyer can arrange for collection at their cost.

Prospeed Mk2 Roof Rack and Ladder - £950 **SOLD**

Condition - Very good. Small scratches but none down to the metal. Also worth noting, I purchased these in 2021 during the "stay at home" period. Prospeed were having issues getting injection moulded parts manufactured, which delayed my order by months, so as a gesture of goodwill the plastic floor panels were switched out with power coated aluminium floor plates instead.

GAP IID Tool (Bluetooth) - £315 **SOLD**

Buyer will have to transfer/re-register with GAP. Original storage box does have some damage to the cardboard due to a superglue leaking onto it... but the GAP tool is in perfect condition.

Draws and Bed Extension - £350 **SOLD**

Before I break these up and repurpose the sliders/hardware thought I'd see if there's any interest. Draw sliders are 220 kg rated. Draws/Bed extensions are raptor coated. Both have been used an extensive amount for camping out of/sleeping in the disco, so do have some small chips, but could easily be touched up (never bothered me, so never fixed). These do need a bit of a clean, as seen in pictures. If there's interest I can post more photos and provide more detail. Price reflects the cost of the sliders/hardware.

Hi,

Dibs on the draws if they're what I'm after. Do they just fill the boot with the middle seats still up?

Apologies for the rambling in advanced...

So, the overall dimensions are 102cm (W) x 30.5cm (H) x 109cm (L). I've cut a small angle into each bottom corner of the draw frame that follows the plastic boot trim, not needed but helps to line up the draws so they're central.

The small draw internal dimensions are 35cm (W) x 20.5cm (H) x 95.5cm (L). Large draw internal dimensions are 49.5cm (W) x 20.5cm (H) x 95.5cm (L).

The draws sit flush to the middle row of seats (following their angle). Doesn't stop the middle row of seats from being used, however to lay the seats flat they first have to be dropped before they can be angled down due to the pivot angle of the seat. The draw locks sit against the carpet boot trim piece with the bottom boot closed, stops the draws from any movement or small rattles. The sliders are locked but tried to maximise all the space I had available.

The draws are secured using the factory eye lets in the boot with some M8 tension hooks.

I originally planned to add some covers over the gap, between the side of the draws and boot cubbies (over the top of the tension hooks), but this space was quite handy for storing quick access items. Umbrella, wellies, coats, etc...

I've also added some firings to the bottom of the draws, annoyingly I found during a trial fit the boot wasn't perfectly level. So with these the draws/bed extension are now perfectly level.

Now for the bed extensions...

These sit on lips on the back of the draws and are secured with latches to the draws and two tension hooks down to the middle row of seat. There's a factory tie down strap bracket on two of the seats that are used. For reference I've loaded these with over 300 kg, took a drive, and they took the weight with out issue. So without modification, these won’t work with other draws.

I had planned on boxing in the back of the draws, hence them being unpainted, but as you never see them with the seats up this never ended up happening.

The bed extension is in two pieces, one for ease of getting them in the car and also you can have one side in with a middle row seat still useable. Or keep the all the seats flat, with one bed extension removed and you can sleep in the car, with a cool box in that space. There's also storage under the bed extensions, enough to push two large duffle bags in.

If you have any other question please let me know.

They look really good. I have a Disco 4, but I'm assuming all the fittings will be the same? I'm not sure if the centre seats might fold down differently though.

Im in Ringwood, BH24.

The racks all welded so wouldn't be able to make it any smaller. But I'm happy to buble wrap/add cardboard protection.

All the fittings are there, also just ordered and received a new fitting kit from Prospeed as the one I had was a little scabby.

For shipping I'm not too sure, Shiply might be an option?
