Hi All
I have a disco 3, 2004, I do not have the built in sat nav screen in the dash.
My question is how easy are they to fit please and what else would be needed
Thanks for any help .

Google maps on an iPhone in a holder.
Knocks the standard LR one into a cocked hat.

All is not lost.
Garmin either in a d4 surround or home made, fully upgradeable mapping as well, also looks factory.Just remember:-

I had the base system in my D4.
I moved the little screen into the glovebox (needed for the radio) and fitted a tablet into the space-wired the aux socket from the tablet into the aux in the car and a USB for the power.
Works great, looks factory, but of course has all my amazon music, tomtom navigation app and everything else you can do with a tablet.
