All is not lost.
Garmin either in a d4 surround or home made, fully upgradeable mapping as well, also looks factory.

Very happy with TomTom. Mine came with lifetime free map updates. Clips to air vent with clip bought from Halfords.
2014 MY Discovery XS Indus Silver. Sadly gone. Second last LR of forty eight years continuous ownership.

I had the base system in my D4.

I moved the little screen into the glovebox (needed for the radio) and fitted a tablet into the space-wired the aux socket from the tablet into the aux in the car and a USB for the power.

Works great, looks factory, but of course has all my amazon music, tomtom navigation app and everything else you can do with a tablet.
