Sat Nav and M1 Junction 10
On my Sat Nav, Junction 10 of the M1 is missing from the list of junctions presnted on the RHS of the screen when travelling on a sat nav predicated route. Has anyone else noted this omission?D3 HSE, Stornoway grey, 2007 MY, side steps, privacy glass, door protection strips.

it does skip junctions every know and again - seems to be if they're close together - I've seen it lose J9 on the M61 and some on the M60Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)
As it is officially an interchange (the dual carriageway bit that goes to Luton is officially motorway) it doesn't show up on the junction list - strange quirk of LR mapping - it;s the same for all junctions where one Mway meets anotherCraig

Obviously it's only been in it's current state for a few months. As you have an 07 car, it could be that it isn't seeing the new format ? Best I have a look next time I'm heading down to the office, one of those journey I never look at the screen for . . . ."To finish first, one first has to finish ...."

The other one I miss is the M1/M6 junction but when a route is set it tell you to keep left and turn off on to the M6 (if traveling north)
J 10 does not appear but I am usually leaving the M1 here to join the A1081 but the voice does get it correct and send me off the M1.Got lost going home to OZ

The D4 version seems to ignore most of the junctions on the M4 from Newbury to Slough... I'll double check tomorrow to see if it's the m-way interchange thing, could well be. But given that you frequently want to take m-way exits, it seems a strange omission!

Sure enough, came onto M4 at 13, coming off at 7, and the list shows 12, the services and 11. Junctions 10, 9, 8 and 7 all AWOL, and they are of course all technically motorway interchanges (even if the one at 7 is just half a mile of slip road to the A4 roundabout).
At least I know why now, even if I still don't understand the rationale!
Goddamn it I think you're right - M61 J9 is ... the M65
Thanks, I am quite humbled to think that I have spotted something that the 'techie' regulars have not noticed before!
