I did get prices for the connectors ...but work out expensive as you have to buy a certain amount ..

here is a copy of email

Your details have been passed onto me from Linda @ IMS; I understand that you require the following parts

1072958 3400SMBA.2E10.029

1072959 3400.SMBA.2F10.029

1072960 3400.SMBA.2I10.029

The minimum amount I can buy of each part is 40 pieces and we would be looking at about 2-3 weeks to get the product to you, price wise you are looking at £2.50 per piece so £300 for all 120 pieces.

The only way I could get your account set up is if you would like to send a cheque which we would need to clear before we order the product of IMS, we can then ship the product next day to you.

Total cost would be

Goods £300.00

Carriage £12.50 (next day service)

VAT £54.69

Total £367.19

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

All the best

Richard

top item is the smb (coax )connector and the following 3 are the fakira plastic shrouds (min 100 each)

However i have found one from farnells which fit perfectly ( although they don't have the coloured shroud on)

Farnell part number 1169647

I used RG174 coax cable which is the correct size for the connector...then some female Rca connectors at the other end .

hope this is of use

Unfortunatly not ...the top link is connector type "A"

You need either "E" "F" OR "I" Type connectors ..depending which socket you want to connect to.

The ones from farnell or rapidonline are a great fit ...and easier to get hold of.

Dunno about the second link ..it dosent say what code it is ... proberly VW only

Tintenter,

Your link is the same part as mine in the farnell link. Very Happy

Farnells however , have a minimum of £20 order ..i didnt notice this at the time as i ordered a roll of Coax and 5 connectors ..so mine came to just over £20.

Welshdisco's link ..you can get them individually aswell....

Oh and there cheaper too Thumbs Up

Yep ..correct one ..or you could use the straight clamp one if you dont have the a crimper tool.

In fact you could use any of the top 3 ..but theres plenty of room so you dont realy need the angled one .

RG174 is the correct cable aswell Thumbs Up

I haven't got a crimper so will get a clamp one.

Will 3m of phono leads reach from the back.
