Sat nav screen and other settings

My sat nav screen is staying on with Land Rover emblem after car is locked. I have just put an update sat nav disc in plus over night the vehicle lost its settings for follow me home lights etc. Any idea what’s going on?

Can you sense a theme here? Laughing
Mind you the 2.25 Petrol Series II with Series III wings for quad headlights, high power alternator conversion and a few other bits and bobs does rather break the theme Laughing

If I turn the engine off and lock the car the screen goes off straight away but if I unlock and relock without putting the key in the ignition the screen stays on for a short while.
Just 'cause you got the power... that don't mean you got the right.

Mine seems to just stay on in that scenario and not actually go fully back to sleep until I put keys in ignition, take them out and then lock up again. Hence my query Laughing Laughing

certainly turning the key to Pos I
and then removing is the quickest and kindest way on the battery

A right pain
