Hi Roel,
Many thanks for that.
It's not going to give me much leverage with my dealer I suspect. They'll not accept me saying what they should do. Lelystad is about an hours drive from my place so no real option, but it's good to know where I stand .
I'm going to have the car in next monday for
- faulty rear pdc, probably broken sensor
- reprogramming BT PTI kit (retrofit)
- transmission fault detected
- resonating loudspeaker
I told them about the software update for the rear difflock and the fact this may solve the 'transmission fault'.
Yesterday for the first time, during driving I also had a 'hcd fault' + 'suspension lowered' fault, pointing to a dying battery (?) so I told them that as well.
Should be enough work for a day.
I'm going to tell them what I found out about speed lock removal, already mailed them the screenies posted here... but no way I'm going to pay € 200 for
regards,

Hello Wiljo,
I had little different faults when my battery was on his way out. But all kinds off warnings like special programms not available and other warning lights on.
What do you need reprogrammed on your aftermarket Bt kit. I have the same but no issues at the moment I think.
I had some transmission faults too when I was off-roading on my street tyres. I was using high revs in command shift and it didn't like that.
Do you have a rear diff lock? If so and if it is an original Dutch car it could be ex Land Rover Driving Experience. Roel

Hi Roel,
Re the faults: ignition cycle fixed it, it has been two days now and no recurrence. But I warned the dealer to look for and solve it.

It's a retrofit genuine LR BT unit. Everytime the BT connection is made, I have to enter the access code on the phone. It is phone independant whereas my phones connect fine to another D3 with retrofit LR BT unit. See also this thread.

Well I'm assuming so... I get a green icon in the rear axle representation on the 4x4 info screen, when going into TR Sand setting it turns red meaning it's locked.
The car is not originally dutch. My dealer (mentioned earlier I bought it from my Jaguar dealer) first told me it served with Landrover Germany but later on they didn't seem to know where it came from. The registration is 1,5 years old whereas the car was first registered 01-08-2004. I'm unsure how to find out what country it was originally registered to, does anybody have an idea? Not important, just nice to know.
In fact, the dealer doesn't even have a clue what's on it and what not. In the specs they gave me for the car it said it has roof rails. It doesn't. But they didn't mention mudflaps, full-size spare tyre and locking rear diff...
Well... it's a dealer. The dealership is owned by two brothers, one does Jaguar, the other Land Rover. I bought at Jaguar and that's where I have 6 months warranty, but now they have booked the car for problem solving with the Land Rover mecanics 'cos the Jaguar people can't get it fixed. I'm thinking about switching to the other brother after the warranty expires. I hope they do know what they're talking about
