Satnav Volume

I can't find any info in the book, so does anyone know how to adjust the volume of the satnav lady?

Hold down the left hand menu button on the radio, when the menu appears, one of the options is Nav Volume

You can also just turn the volume knob while the system is speaking. Whatever is in use will be adjusted.

The only problem... it's not a volume level, it's a volume "offset" (from +0 up) from the normal volume. So, if your stereo volume is high for a low volume source (like the AUX jack), the system will still shout. Sad

The offset volume is a pain. When the stereo is turned up, you really don't want the offset too high otherwise it's uncomfortable. But when volume is low, then to clearly hear her/him, the offset needs to be a bit more. I'm not sure why they need this setting at all. The offset is obviously redundant if the stereo is off, and the radio/CD is muted while it gives directions anyway.

I couldn't find it to start with but as Gareth said you have to hold the menu button in and it gives a different range of parameters.

Or, even easier, just turn the volume knob when it's talking... it will adjust the offset. Smile

By the way, it's honestly documented in the manual. Very Happy
