This is the temp gauge attached to the load cover. The 48.1c is the ambient in the car after the car was parked up on my drive, in the shade of the house, for 2 1/2 hour!!!

The big number is from the wireless sensor in the Engel. It’s a bit higher now as a crate of Cava has just gone in but that should be well chilled by tomorrow. Mr. Green Mr. Green

Sitting in the cab of a bus, surrounded by glass and no air con. That’s how I spent today. Our manager supplied us all with bottled water, top man.

And hopefully not too cold, he wouldn’t want you to go into thermal shock. I thought all these modern buses & coaches were ACed, is that just for the peeps in the back?

By the time I finished my bottle of water was ready for the teabag to be put in.

The coaches have air con but not the buses except the new ones for the airport. Cheap skates Laughing it’s something we will need to discuss with the union and the cab design team, if this is the sign of things to come in the future. We should have the best fleet as our big boss Mr Souter is also a major shareholder in the Alexander Dennis Group.

It’ll be ~30ish here the next 10 days, too. Haven’t seen rain in a while, either...
