Well I'm going for a guess that it happened at the salt mines in the Winsford/Northwich area and it rolled down a steep slope into a rectangular cavern which looks like it's formed from Halite, tipped over and then landed back on its wheels. My theory, and it's only a theory, is that the bonnet is stove in but not unduly scratched, indicating a soft rock, and whilst the rear window and side window are both blown the tyres are not. Perhaps instead of Rock, the sat nav was set to nearby attractions, being the Salt Museum and it took the idea of arriving at a cavern of historical salt quite literally....

Crazy speculation
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

You can just see the edge of the 4th side in the bottom left of the picture, so it looks like it's a hole. No longer a D3 owner but still subscribed to multiple threads!

Did they make it dig its own hole and then push it in on top of its brother? I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

I'm shopping around at the moment and was wondering if this would be covered by Tesco's finest Nine-tenths of wisdom is being wise in time.
Also appears 9/10 of stopping is stopping in time

I think you're right. It's a hole, rather like a neolithic tomb. I think, and I may be wrong, that this resulted from a locel 4x4 coven offering up a Range Rover to the gods of Tata in a ritualistic sacrifice. I know this may appear odd, but there are strange things afoot these days. There is a blue bandana on the edge of the hole which confirms my theory.
