In search of green backlit switch with "on" indicator
Any recommendations for a switch that is:
backlit (green)
Rocker or push/latch
Has an LED indicator when switched ON
ideally round, would look at oval/rectangular at a pinch
ideally max 25mm x 35mm
It's for auxiliary driving lights, hence must have a illuminated "on" indicator. Backlight is because where the previous car owner has mounted the existing one is..... not intuitive and it's a right fumble to find it in the dark. I don't want to be making any additional holes if I can avoid it, so would rather reuse this location.
It's for my Freelander 2. I've had a bit of a trawl around the Ford parts bins and, well, driving lights aren't really a thing in their range until you get to the Ranger, and they use "manly" big marine switches from what I can see, not ideal for locating above your knee next to the normal light switch.I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

There was never an official driving light accessory for Freelander 2. All the ones on ebay are for the Freelander 1 (you'll see two types as there's a pre and post facelift switch)I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
Thanks Nik, Martin. That's the conclusion I'm coming to if I go for a generic illuminated switch - do the config around illumination logic myself.
One option that looks promising and is OEM is to look at Fiesta/Puma fog switches. Right colour, size and appearance. I'll have another snoop around the older Ford stuff and go from there.I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

You genius! That looks like exactly the thing I'm after!
I thought that lighting kit was a RING aftermarket but looks like it was briefly offered by LR as a OEM accessory. The switch from that kit and the loom that goes with it would make my life a lot easier.
