Seat base swap?

Just a little question, Can the drivers seat base be swapped with the passenger seat base....

Assuming you mean complete with lower subframe?
If so I wouldn't think so as the controls will be on the wrong side.
But if it's just the foam base, then I see no probs. I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

The leather seat base, if so how does it come off also is it attached to the airbags.

There was a article in last month LRO magazine to do exactly this.

From memory it is bolted down.

New foam is about £25 so you couldnjust replace it, but then you need to swap the cover which involves hog rings etc

I presume the seat base has to come off either way... Whistle
