Enable the TV and remote park heat
Morning all, I need some help please.
I have a 2015 hse, I have been told that the remote park heater, the one that uses a remote to turn on is on all HSE car but not activated and the same for the TV function. does anyone know if this is true. If so how do you do it?? If not can its be done.
You need to buy a remote and a receiver for the remote heat to work. Bodsy was and may still be selling them. If not already activated, you can get the park heat activated allowing you to set an "on time" on the screen.
For the tv, you will need to buy an aerial and tuner before it will work. there are a few threads on here covering the parts needed
Once parts are fitted, you need an IID tool or similar to activate. there are a number of site sponsors around the country who can do this if you don't want to buy one

Timed climate ( appears on the dash screen, set the timer, FBH fires up ) can be activated but if you want remote heating ( extra remote, press to fire up the FBH ) you'll need to buy the kit, install it AND have the timed climate activated. I think that's right.
TV, you'll need a few things inclu all the receiving hardware for TV and associated cables to connect it to the screen AND activate the feature via diagnostics so the car knows it has the TV feature.
It's not so much that the features are already there more they can be added and activated with the correct diagnostic equipment.
Not sure who your nearest equipped member is but Beanie is at Stafford and Flack is at Preston, not sure about your side of the Pennines. Mods:
