second service

our D4 is 2 years old this week...19500 miles..had a 32k service at roger young cornwall £554.

broken down as £295 labour £146 oils.filters etc
£92 f..ckin VAT
didn't think that was bad...also had tow bar check and OK.
one thing that surprised me the front tyres are down to 2mm...wranglers..is this about the right mileage for this heavy car???
also ...they were at one time very dear on tyres..but this time they can do wranglers for £146 inc vat
fitted...thought that was reasonable....my main gripe was the damage to the door card done by the seat belt buckle...two dents in the plastic and damage to the corner of the leather armrest...
the coment....as the seat belt is working correctly the damage wont be warranty...my view if the seat belt was working properly I wont have a phuked panel..may try with pete...
other than that nothing exciting...gave me a new disco sport hse for the day...crap

I wonder how long it actually takes the mech to service the car?

I reckon the sport will go down in history as worse than the freelander it replaced?

labor was booked as 3.3 hours......got 10 % off labor and parts

I've had two sets of Pirelli Scorpion Zeros on the car. Each set lasted only 18k miles. Got PS ATRs, now. Thumbs Up Went for a job as a human cannonball. Not the right calibre.

well surprise,surprise...had a call to go back to the dealer ref the door card damage...the service manager has now told me he will order new seat belt AND new door card under warrantee...and whilst there they swaped the two fob casing on the keys..again warrantee.......this all came about because after any visit they have a lady that rings to check you had a good experience...at your service...I had gone thro the damage scenario with her and she appears to have activated the action.
