OK, so I've searched high and low on here and there's mention of a secret grommet on the bulkhead for feeding through cables (the usual suspect is filled with clutch cable) but nobody has revealed its location!
Would someone put me out of my misery and tell me where to look for it please!

Stick your hand up behind the accelerator pedal and have a good rummage - you'll find it.
Or open up the engine bay, take off the cover for your 2nd battery box, and you'll see a small hole in the bulkhead - which is where you can run cabling through the bulkhead.

Well got most of my 2nd battery install done today. Made the kit up myself rather than buying in a ready made one.
Used the grommet here to get the two 16mm2 cables through Blimey is that a fiddly job! Removed the existing blanking grommet and replaced with another of correct size - eventually after much swearing! Thanks to Wiggs & Craig for revealing its location.

All cables installed to boot area plus charging circuit all installed. Seem to be working fine.
I was just about to finish and realised my battery terminals had 10mm posts on and I only had 8mm crimps! Anyway it turned out they are too tall for the battery cover anyway so have had to order lower profile replacements. Have connected via the tightening bolts for the moment.
BTW, if you drop some of the clips for the sill trim through the holes, don't worry as I discovered it's easy to retrieve them. Just lever the plastic trim below this out by removing the white plugs holding it in place and you can fish them out.
Apologies for appalling state of car in these photos!
Had to "modify" the trim here to enable it to lie flay with the cable underneath.
All back together (almost)
Will post photos of battery tray area later...
Kit of parts used is as follows. There may be one or two items I've missed out, but nothing major.
Cables nicely terminated in boot area. These tuck in behind the trim ahead of the jack compartment.
Battery compartment, with Cole Hersey circuit breakers. Voltage sensing relay is to the right of the battery below one of the breakers.
Tap into 12S socket feed to run permanent 12v pin from aux battery. The wires disappearing off the top of the picture connect to the existing LR 12v socket, so that's running off aux battery also.

Nice job Methley, I wish someone had told me in advance about that grommit before I wasted several hours looking for other grommits and taking out main battery and taking apart loom seal on drivers side luckily TFC tipped me off before I went totally insane!
You have relay in same place as mine:

And have same setup it seems

I had same issues with terminal height, I bought two of those three-way type terminal you can see on the positive but the negative did not fit, and I still had to cut the stud down.
Its amazing how quickly all those nice connectors and cables add up in price though isn't it!

Not run my feed to the rear yet, want to do the same as you with the LR 12v socket rewire to Aux, not too worried about trailer socket as I use it for bike rack only but I want 50A Anderson at rear as well ideally for external feeds. Have a 175A anderson to put under bonnet as well when I find the time, already have 175A Anderson's in my jump leads.
