Select height
When you press the button to lower the car do you need to have it in neutral...parking brake on.....any other sort of trick? I press the button and sometimes it goes down straight away and sometimes it doesn’t. It goes up fine. It drives fine. I’m not sure what f I’m missing a trick?Discovery 3 tdv6 HSE 2007

it helps to have the park brake off.
But if it won't go down correctly I may benefit from a calibration.
I tended to press lower before I came to a stop (if i remembered)
If going too fast at the time, it will remember the request for up to a minute? and perform it when it has slowed down to 10mph?

Fixed this this morning with a little loosening a little red hose and a bloody fpgreat can of switch cleaner. Sprayed and manipulated the switch for a period of time and the switch is now working beautifully smoothly and correctly every time. I’m not a betting man but if I were I’d say a drink of some description had spilled in or around the switch at some time in its life.
Whilst I was at it I went through the fuse boxes making sure the correct values fuses were in the right holes so to speak. Found two wrong and changed them and curiously found two missing from their places and so inserted correct value new ones. It’s all good fun.Discovery 3 tdv6 HSE 2007

To be honest I can’t remember.....one was a large fan symbol I recall that. I followed the fuse box cover diagram as the hand book was left in Somerset .......Discovery 3 tdv6 HSE 2007

I did the fuses behind the glove box in the engine bay and checked the ones in the rear cargo area panel which bizarrely are a different type of fuse?Discovery 3 tdv6 HSE 2007
