My advice is to keep it until next winter. You'll probably get a lower price for your D3 if you sell in the summer. Visit my car detailing blog at http://maksimumdetail.wordpress.com

Market not as good as it was over Winter but they can still be sold at the right price.
You will probably make more in 5-7 months than you will now but I think they will start to go down in value soon.
The D4 has been out a while now and its time it started to lose value for us plebs at the bottom of the pile. SOLD - 23my Range Rover Sport D300 Dynamic SE

There's still a bit of a shortage of good D3 stock at some dealers, so worth seeing if your local dealer would price it to buy it in. Gives you a starting point. I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

I just bought, and the info and research i carried out says the used market in Disco 3s has never been better. Dealers are biting your hand off to get them. My mate has been offered the same price he paid for his 2 years ago!! A curious state of affairs, but I think it has something to do with LR shutting down production a couple of years back...

I hate to go to stealers as I would rather sell to someone who wants the car and cant afford the rip off prices a dealer would charge.

Depends on mileage, age and condition (obviously)
Plenty of 55 plate ones on forecourts with anything up to £19,995 in and around this area (which I think is a bit high)
A good condition 56MY example with average mileage in HSE guise would still fetch somewhere between £18k - £20k Never get mad - get even !!
06 D3 now gone to family member and still going strong at 265k
previous vehicles:
04 D2 TD5 - (clocked 189k from new)
52 X-Trail 2.2 SVE
various euro boxes !
