servces on french autoroute

Hi all, a quick word of.advice please.
I'll be using the french motor ways next week towing a fairly long trailer. Question. Is there any reason why I shouldn't use the fuel pumps designed for use by hgv's as their access will be easier for me? I assume the fuel is dispensed at a faster rate but is this control able?
Thanks

I use the HGV pumps at our local Shell if there are big queues for the normal ones. The nozzle is a bit bigger but fits my D3 no problem. It just means that you can hand over your hard earned to No 11 Downing Street more quickly. Big Cry

Sometimes the fuel 'delivery rate' is higher, so be careful or you'll get doused in diesel 'aftershave' Whistle

Can I butt in here with a silly question....
Is truck diesel exactly the same as the diesel at the car pumps?

A long time ago I bought a merc and the dealer told me never to use the truck pumps as it was different diesel... is this BS that I've never questioned?

No diffrence in the diesel as far as i know. The nozzle size tends to be bigger for high volume. In some garages you may get the nozzle in the filler but it will airlock and click off.
