We should all note that all Land Rovers built from 1st July 2013 have their full service history available to access online. You can register here to access the vehicle's history:-
Check your service history & if incomplete get the offending dealer to sort it out.
In the light of what has been said in the thread referred to above I would suggest that when checking your car in with a JLR franchisee you should always:-
1. Ask for an invoice, particularly if you are on a service plan; and
2. Ask the Dealership to provide a copy of the updated on-line service history
Hope this helps !

Click on the above link to the thread and there is a link on the thread. Just checked mine. Only one service on there showing and my D4 should have had 2 services.

Interim oil changes are not shown in the service history, some unscrupulous dealers have even removed additional oil change services that fall outside of the Discovery Sport 21,000 service regime.
Sound advice from NJSS. Make sure you get an invoice for ALL work completed so you have proof it was done when your engine goes bang and dealer failed to update OSH.
Only the VIN is required to access OSH now.

Yes but, as I stated above, you no longer need to register using your personal details for OSH. You just enter your vehicle's VIN.

Complain to the dealer who failed to record the service on-line.
If it's not put right this potentially casts a shadow on your cars service history & thus its resale value.
Don't stand for any nonsense.

I always have an interim oil change. It was mentioned to me that although it doesn’t go on the OSH, when an official Land Rover invoice is raised for work carried out there is a central record of this with Land Rover. Useful for when the crank goes😳.

That should have no bearing on what happens if the crank goes, it’s not required by them in any way shape or form,Joined the BMWX5 45e group

As I understand it, if an unfortunate owner were to appeal to LR with a vehicle out of warranty that has a spun bearing/snapped crank, the following would be considered: Overall vehicle condition, full dealer service history with LR dealer invoices for all additional work using only original parts. The unfortunate owner would need a supportive dealer as well to fight his corner, hence my comment regarding official LR invoices. All this for what is considered to be a “known fault”.
