Morning.
When I firststart the panel in the middle of the speedo says 'Service' on one side and '-38' in the other. What does this mean?
At first I thought I was 38 miles overdue for a service but although the figure has increased over the last couple of weeks its not relative to the distance travelled and I had no prior warning or indiction that a service was required?
Is a service required or is it simply that I haven't noticed this screen and its always been there!!
Last service was approx 9000 miles ago.

Since last Tuesday, mine is now showing a count down to my service, both in miles and I assume days.
But it didn't start until 200 miles - but is showing about 73 days (I assume!) both now less. The 200 miles was showing when I was in Kendal, and have since come 160 miles back home, and was then showing 100miles!
I thought they came on about 2000 miles before a service - 200miles is not a fat lot of use!  Mark.

Mine has only come on with a countdown from 30 days until it is due. I would have thought that the -38 could be the number of days overdue a service the car thinks it is if the service light hasn't been reset properly!?!

Check the date of your previous service. I think that you'll find that you are twelve months & 38 days from that.
