Service Indicator

Upon startup this afternoon my D4 bonged a few times and told me service required, this is the first time i've seen the message but now there is no symbol or message on startup or whilst running, should it tell me everytime i start up? Only had the car just over a week so if it needs a service i ought to know so i can sort summat at the supplying garage ASAP! Neutral

Sounds like the dealer has not reset the timer for the service interval on the PDI check you need to get to your dealer and get them to check it.

Its a fairly low milage so dont think it had a service before i got it, as they didnt know how long before it would need it (was only a local garage that got the disco), should the indicator be on all the time, or is it possibly right on the edge of needing service so likely to come on in the next few days again?
