Service Plan - Any Advice On Additional Activity
I have searched the forum and can't see any posts that address this request....
I am about to let the local Stealer do the 2nd service under the Service Plan.
Is there anything above and beyond what they should do as part of the service that it is worth getting them to do to the vehicle whilst they have it. Or any areas I should be pointing them towards in an holistic way.
I am guessing they will do the bare bones as the service is already paid for. I am asking them to fill the AdBlue and know that is covered under the plan.
I don't mind contributing £ if its something thats worthwhile and will protect my investment downstream.
Any thoughts or ideas gratefully appreciated.

Shouldn't be anything extra needed at 2 years old.

Thanks - The only thing I suspect it needs is for DSL to give up those 19" alloys and the ATR's...
They would look great on mine and I am sure I would feel a whole lot better then
DSL - you are feeling sleepy - tick - tock - tick - tock

They are mine I tell ya, all mine.
DG's would be a good buy. Mind you my D4 has had a new battery as the only bit of non scheduled maintenance my D4 has needed in few months under 7 years. Now I've blown it.
With regards to the Adblue, I don’t think they filled mine at the first service, or not to the top, when I bought the vehicle, the Adblue range was 17000, went it went for its first service at 11000 miles, the remaining range was 5500, after the first service the range was 11000 miles a lot less than when new, due a service in April, currently done 10000 miles since the service, this week the Adblue warning came up. I was away so the main driver took it to the dealer I detest, they put in alledgedly 10 litres which has given a range of 11800.
On another note, Pratstones never asked any questions, just took the D4 into the workshop for a couple of minutes and then returned it, gave her the keys and waved her goodbye.

Standard service should cover it all.
However it is worth carrying out a few checks to see if they actually do it probably.
My first under the plan last May was the first service carried out by a main dealer correctly in 3 years.
Perhaps they had cottoned on that I check work has been completed.
Not that fussed in the end as work carried out again and only paid £200 for 3 services over 3 dealerships.
The only thing not covered by the service package is a litre of top oil that you normally get when paying for it.D4 Landmark MY16 Santorini Black THE LAST
