Ok...out of interest I did the same journey today ....but deliberately filled from empty with normal Shell diesel, and reset the trip computer....31.2mpg
Now I will admit to driving a bit more "enthusiastically" when the kids are not in the car,but nothing mad
So... Shell nitro 34.2mpg with a full boot,2 adults and 2 kids
Ordinary Shell 31.2mpg empty boot and 1 driver....make what you will of that  "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool,than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...
