Is there a shire fab rock slider how to fit guide on here?

I'm fitting my new shire fabrications rock sliders tomorrow and wondered if anyone has done a how to fit guide? I'm also planning on fitting my lr spot lights that I've only had waiting to be fitted for well since I had my previous d3 Embarassed Laughing

I found them easy to fit, I had to tap out the threads in the body for the fixing bolts as they full of crap, other than that pretty much straight forward. I didn't remove the door seal on the bottom of the door as others have, I tightened the bottom fixings first to pull the sliders down away from the door then tightened the side fixings. There's a post on fb what Ash has done when fitting his sliders, using a trim seal and different fixings. I can try find it if you like.

I fitted a set a few months ago and they are straight forward to fit.
As has been said you may need to run a tap through the lower holes to clean the threads up.
The Shire ones fit with the original door seals.

Just tap them with a screwdriver or hole punch and they shatter and fall out, much easier than trying to pull them out.

Does anyone know what size bolts are required for fitting the shire rock sliders ? I’ve picked up a second hand set that are being blasted and coated, I’ve been told they are M8 bolts but don’t know what length to order. Will A4 stainless be the way forward ?

Thanks all. Thumbs Up

Yeah M8 about 20-25mm I think, I’m sure I have a spare bolt in the garage I could measure.
Stainless would be good and some large stainless washers.
