Shock - D4 Alarm actually audible!
Given how quiet the D3 alarm was, I was a little taken aback when I accidentally managed to set off the alarm yesterday morning... I would think quite a few of the neighbours were too!

It certainly is loud! I managed to set off the panic alarm the other day, and then didn't know how to turn it off. I don't think my neighbours were that impressed at 7.30am!

I accidentally set off the panic alarm the other day too, and couldn't figure out how to turn it off. Finally after fumbling with the key with no success , I went and opened one of the doors and the alarm stopped.
Can the D4 alarm sounder be fitted to the D3? The D3 one is just pathetic (and yes, I know the horn can be made to sound instead!)Now an ex-D3 owner after 7 happy years. Miss the car but not the big bills

It seemed to be using the horn and a sounder. I don't particularly wish to repeat the experiment to confirm the details!
