I did keep it pal. That’s the point I was making about what you said about a known vehicle D3 07 SE - still going strong
D3 07 HSE - gone to car heaven
FL1 - gone to Romania
D3 05 HSE - gone to a divorce diet
D1 V8 manual - gone but not forgotten
RR Classic - gone to car heaven

Jeeps, Lexus, X-trails... Too many to name..

Ah I miss read that! I think I’ll get one but hang on for a good one, I plan to keep it for a few years 8)

80 mile trip to Pangbourne, after work, jimmyjams.

I liked my D2 but D3 is sooooooo much better, for the uses I put it too anyhow!

I do the best of both worlds, but they are very different motors. i skipped the 3 for lots of reasons.

The D2 is easy to work on DIY and very cheap compared to the D3/4. The 3 obviously drives nicer than the 2 but not as nice as a 4. A 3 was too nice to do the things I still want to do in my 2 but not as nice as the runout 4 I ended up with. Of the 3 cars the 3 seems to be the one with the most significant issues so I decided to keep the 2 I've had for 7 years but stretch my new car purchase to the D4 (I did have a baby RR to part ex which was amazing on depreciation) Ultimately I'll keep the 4 and swap the 2 for something for the wife when we don't need 2 big cars.
