Dealers just quoted me £530 + VAT to supply and fit. ouch!!! Seen some new for £250 on the LR centre ltd web site. According to various posts on here its a couple of hours to fit, so my dealers are on £125 per hour. Jesus wept!!!

Thank you Macleod - looks like a purchase is going to be done soon, followed by fitting myself and the stealer can loose another sale!!

Not a problem, they are an easy fit TBH, and certainly not worth the £500 + to supply n fit

I've got some cills with the cut outs in following my removal of side steps. I've removed the cills and replaced them with new
We can come to an arrangement if you would like them? Save you cutting holes in yours.

Cills arrived, cheers Sturge!
Got one step fitted this afternoon, hope it dont rain tomorrow or I'll be running around with just one on in the afternoon! Thanks again for quick postage, and not having to cut out has saved some time. I'll keep my cills incase I trade in and want to keep the steps.

just be warned about genuine landrover sidesteps. On both of mine the aluminum edge strip has fallen off due to the rivets corroding badly (basically dissolving to nothing), and falling off. The first one at 2 years, second one at 3 years old. Luckily first one fixed under warranty and second one replaced under warranty.
The dealer said ther was a manufacturing defect...? I dont know if they fixed their manufacturing defect by now....
