Side Steps/Side Protection Tubes

If I replace my side steps with side protection tubes will I have to replace the plastic sills(because of the holes) or do they both bolt on in the same place?

you'll need to replace the sills!

You don't need tubes or steps mate... RLD's sills will protect your D3, the others will hinder you off road in ruts etc (apart from car park door dings).

Has anyone repaired the sill holes with resin or anything other than Duct-Tape?

I love the challenge, but hadn't priced them. I was thinking of painting to body color and putting a set of bars on.

i have some sills cut for the side protection tubes and brackets. you can have them FOC for a small site donation.

but my advise would be to get some of uncle Rays Rock slider sills. Bow down

Thanks for the generous offer. I thought that the protection tubes didn't require the sill cutouts. And replacing the side steps with the tubes, required new hole-less sills??

the protection tube DO require holes to be cut in the plastic sill covers...

Ohhh, thanks for clearing that up. My parts manager, tried to tell me that I needed new sills if I wanted to swap the side steps for the protection tubes, as the tubes attached to the bottom of the sill plate. Side steps are nice, but they really collect mud and debris, and I really think it's a matter of time before I fold one up.
