Side Steps/Protection Bars
Just wondering if the above would help prevent damage from people opening their car doors against my Discovery .
Have side mouldings on but they are next to useless at protection from car doors .
Car got a good ding whilst parked up at wife school yesterday .
TIA

Fit tree sliders and then park in off-road height.
Never fear the supermarket car park again. MY2022 D5 HSE D300 - with extra nice bits added

Probably... others have fitted them and seem generally satisfied. They're a lot cheaper than the prospeed ones.MY2022 D5 HSE D300 - with extra nice bits added

if it's only door-opening damage , steps are fine. various non-LR ones available from about £120 IIRC.

Yes was thinking about steps as well as the bars I mentioned above , just not seen any steps on a D4 that look ok (meaning blend in with the vehicle).

Shirefabrication are in my opinion really good. The steps look and feel solid. My only issue is they have corroded quickly (7 months). However Carl at shire has been excellent and picked them up and swapped them. I'm just in the process of self raptor coating them. Costs £30 on Amazon for the paint.
