Sill protectors
I like to make some sill protectors. I Like the RLD design but want a little more protection for the bottum off the doors without having tubes sticking on the side off my car.
I am thinking off using a simple L shape steel section and weld a square bit in the bottum side off it.
Does anyone know the dimension for the L shape steel I need?
Thanks,Roel

hi ray
have you got any further with the design for adding detachable side tubes/bars to your sill guards?
paul[hobgoblin] and i were talking and were also wondering if there was any way of adding a mount/tube's to take a high lift jack too, only accesable once the tubes were removed of course?

I have ordered the MATZKER sill protectors from DUCKWORTH's. These seem to be the best option if ground clearance is an option. I took a D3 to Morocco fitted with Genuine LR sidesteps and got stuck on nearly every crest of every sand dune! I'll post pics of the fitting once I get the G4 back home.
