2009 Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE Auto Bournville

Simple awning.

Just come back from a very sunny holiday with SWMBO and the dogs. Trouble was the dogs were having trouble finding shade from the sun. Is there a simple type of awning which just attaches to the roof bars with a couple of poles and ropes, know what I'm getting at ? Not planning any camping trips. 1955 SWB Series 1 86 inch

See here a page with the various brackets, so you get an idea how they are fixed to the roof rack//bars.

Try the guys at flatdog..... That ebay one is fairly expensive. I got my ARb for about £160..

Or speak with Andrew at Maverick 4x4 .... He might do you a discount if you use my name and mention the D2 forum.

2010 Discovery 4 3.0 TDV6 GS Auto Nara Bronze

Oztent poles and £30 British army tarp. Decathlon’s sells something non camo 3mx3m for £15 and poles.

Use bungees/scaffold sheeting toes or small karabiners to connect to the roof rack. Lots of simple options at low expense.
