Very slow response - Glitches
Martin,
Throughout the day today I've found the web-site to be very slow to refresh/update. It is nothing to do with my own connection speed as I am able to access other sites fine, while still waiting for a refresh on this one.

Mine was the same earlier today but it seems fine now.
Martin's not on-line so hopefully this answer still stands - the server that the site is hosted on is a bit overloaded but the host will soon be providing a new server to move it to. That was the last I heard from Martin a week or so back anyway, probably completely duff info by now

The host have got the new server installed, and they are moving accounts over to it to try and balance the load. Apparently they've also hit a problem with the web server software, it keeps falling over occassionally and knocking sites out completely, rather than the 'usual' database server lag.
It is a bit exasperating, especially as I'm now paying more for this hosting which seems little better to the end user than before - however the support is a million times better, I know what the problems are and the status with fixing them.
I will keep you informed regarding progress on the issues. I've taken the plunge and moved RRSPORT over to this server as well, so they'd better sort it out!06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
