Slow starting issue

Hi all,
My 2014 3.0 sdv6 has just got really slow to start. It cranks over really quickly, but takes ages to fire.
I have not long replaced the low pressure fuel pump with a genuine vdo one.
Today I took the tank off again and replaced the pump again, along with a genuine fuel filter and still no change.
Currently no faults showing, so I'm at loss as to what to try next.
It runs like a dream once it starts, just cranks for a few seconds.
Anyone else had similar?

Check the battery voltage is above 12v, ideally 13-14v before starting up if not charge up the main battery making sure your negative is connected to the car body rather than the negative terminal of the battery as it will reset the battery monitor system.

If that doesn't solve the issue it could be the alternator, not uncommon for the alternator / starter motor to need replacing after a few years.

Do you run it on long journeys now and again as that helps keep the battery topped up.
