My lead arrived this morning and, thanks to quantumjohn and wiggs, I now have fitted a simple means of plugging in a temporary rear view camera (from eBay) so I can reverse my dinky little trailer which is invisible from the driver's seat on the few ocaisions I use it.

I would never have dared to pull on the trim as hard as it takes to remove the H-section; indeed, I thought I had broken it, it made such a noise when it let go. But again, knowing exactly where and in what direction to pull was the key.
