Smoking

Hi all
I have recently purchased my discovery 3.
On cold mornings there is noticeable smoke/exhaust fumes coming from the pipe in the attached pic!! Located left had side of engine, just behind the radiator.
It does eventually stop and drives fine.
Can anyone shed any light on what's going or gone wrong? Many thanks in advance

Now just get the fbh controller added to remote start it or from mobile to enjoy the luxury of a warm car before you get in.
