I have just spent the week up and down Scotland, and yes it was comparatively mild, with little snow. The drive home was interesting with some freezing rain, but we missed the worst of it.
Maybe a different story Friday night into Saturday, as I am driving down to Folkestone, and on to the Alps

We got 3" or so here in Windsor and still coming down steady, hoping for more so I can do the school runs before heading to work!

Scottish news this morning were saying that all resorts were reporting plenty of snow ?....funnily enough the half-term starts today.....somebody is telling porkies methinks "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

Saw that & chuckled, good snow on the tops, that's all. Pic shows what the rest is like. Good old spin on the local news.
