I just flew into Manchester, and from the plane there was a good covering over the Peak District. A bit different to 36 hours ago, playing golf in Thailand! Got off the plane in my shorts a flip flops! T'was a bit parky! 8)

Saturday afternoon, and before anyone who recognises the location and says we should not have been there, we had the appropriate permissions and in company with a Discovery TD5 and a Defender double cab, as part of a Land Rover club we had volunteered to ferry the more elderly and frail members of a family up there to scatter the ashes of a loved one.
1997 Defender 90 for the kids and I to have a go at some competitive off road RTV and Tyro trials, daughter picked up her first trophy over the August Bank Holiday.
Previous Land Rover history
1996 P38 4.6 V8 Autobiography
1996 Discovery TDi 300
1972 Range Rover 3.5 V8
LWB Hard Top Series 3
LWB Truck Cab Series 2A
Not been without a Land Rover for over 40 years - I must need therapy!

We had a dusting in Ashbourne on Saturday, so decided to go for a snowy walk on Kinder.. Got there barely any snow!
Also, glad I did the new front discs and Pads on Friday night and not the Saturday morning as planned!
