Yes this is a popular mod but I hope you have spoken to your insurance company to inform them you have modified your D4. A member on RRS did and got a 40% increase in premium.FFRR Westminster TDV8

What make discs are folks using who have carried out this mod?
I remember reading reports of problems with aftermarket discs of standard size and the consensus was to stick with LR discs.
Is this the same for the larger upgraded discs?

Mikey and are they what you tend to fit for your customers with 380mm discs?
I keep thinking about doing this every time I see a 6pot post as although the D4 brakes are good there has been a few times when a bit more braking power would have been good especially when towing the tintent.

My cars a RRS with them fitted as standard so I’ve stuck to LR disks purely so I don’t have to declare yet another mod. If I was upgrading an LR4 I think I’d go with updated disks as I’d be paying increased insurance for a brake mod anyway.012MY RRS 5.0 Supercharged Autobiography (Current)

No, I tend to fit Britpart XS discs. Made to exactly OEM spec, and coated to slow down the rust build up on the hubs etc
The D+G discs are Zinc coated, and a bit "blingy" to be putting on a car such as an L405, despite being a fair chunk cheaper...My D3 Build Thread
Dolce & Gabbana® do discs ? I'll bet they ARE blingy..
