[For Sale] Robbie's Honda HRD536QX 21" Mower

Not sure mowers make for an exciting purchase, but here is my Honda HRD536QX petrol mower with a rear roller. These are outstanding mowers and popular with commercial users due to their reliability, longevity and power. More details on this mower and its features can be found here:

https://www.lawnmowersdirect.co.uk/product...-lawnmower

This mower has been with us for a while but has very few hours on it and has seen comparatively little use as we have a ride-on mower, as such it is in very good condition in comparison to the ones listed on the bay:

The engine is an OHV unit, 163cc, with a proper heavy flywheel and has always been fed with quality synthetic oil. More importantly, it has a red engine cover and the words 'High Performance' written on a fake carbon-fibre sticker, so it must go really fast and draw in the chicks:

Vrooom - 'Power of Dreams' ….or something:

More usefully it has the powered rear roller. Capable of achieving the Wimbledon look it actually stops the blade from digging in when the lawn has lumps and bumps:

For those that like to collect grass it comes complete with a large-capacity framed bag, but it can be operated without:

The other side:

The mower has just been serviced:

This is me putting the new oil in:

The clutch plates have loads of life remaining:

The genuine Honda blade has been treated and sharpened and the heavy alloy deck has been blended and treated:

The working parts (cock, hook and look) have been Teflon sprayed too:

Driver's view, if driver is 2ft tall:

And should small things bother you the machine is capable of dispatching small furry animals with a dedicated blade control on the bars:

So there we have it and whilst I am not supposed to say so I gather this Honda engine is marginally better than the one in the new Mclaren F1 car.

With an mrp of around £1.4k and discount places selling them for around £1.1k I hope a special price for forum members of just £625 (collection only) will please someone's wallet (except for me that is, who has clearly taken quite a hit with this purchase). Even tatty ones make good money on the bay so your investment will hold true should you ever need to sell it.

I can provide both the owner's and workshop manual on pdf if required. Any questions - please ask. Dibs on this thread please, before hitting the PM system.

Regards to all.

what's the minimum cutting height - we have a 52 year old Suffolk Colt that cuts to about a quarter of an inch (proper putting green quality) - can this do that?

With a standard blade it will cut down to 1/2".

Excellent advert and an excellent mower. The beauty of the mower over a cylinder is that it will cut long wispy seed heads that cylinder mowers struggle with. GLWS Thumbs Up

You can never have too many mowers the N+1 rule applies (like bikes and power tools and beers) so I don't know why she'd react like that. Very unreasonable.
