RRP is £6550 and available in jewellers on high street - is your price a typo?

No typo. The watch can only be bought at RRP at an AD but their quoted waiting times are ridiculous, that is if they do agree to add new names to their lists (many aren't doing that).
Non-ADs indeed have these in stock but at a higher premium than what I am asking for. Check out Watchfinder and Chronext to get an idea of grey market prices, despite watches being used (mine is brand new & unworn) and/or with much less warranty remaining (mine is only a few days into its 5 year warranty).
Thanks for the free bump though

I've uhhmed and aaahed about these a while and my local dealer had one that he said he would have to transfer if not sold (they have to move unsold stock to another AD dealer if that dealer has a buyer). Didn't realise they were getting hard to source nowadays.
I've not found getting models that difficult in past - last year I got the "absolutely impossible to buy" D-Blue one day after asking half a dozen dealers if they had one. The dealer actually asked if I was buying just to sell on as they had £1000-£1500 premiums on them at the time
My 'Hulk' was also supposedly 'difficult' to source when I bought that but that was a spur-of-the moment buy at my local dealer from stock that day.

Thanks
Yes, recently it has become considerably difficult to get ANY SS model in the UK and even more so for the likes of BLNR, D-Blue, Hulk etc. New ceramic Daytona is in a completely different league ( 65-70% premium ).
Contributing factors are:
- Lower UK Rolex RRP (even after an across the range 10-11% increase last November after static prices for 4 years) compared to most of the world.
- Drop in the value of GBP combined with VAT refund making them VERY attractive to foreign buyers.
- Availability also depends on which part of the country you're in (much more challenging in London and the South East).
I once saw a BLNR in a London AD's window about 2-3 years ago but those days are gone now. I could have bought it at the RRP of £5950 back then but couldn't decide if it was really that different to my then GMT LN. I was unhappy with myself for a long time for letting it go as after that they became so scarce. I kicked myself until I found one (not the one I'm selling) while on holiday abroad. This was after trying very hard to get it locally ... visited over a dozen London dealers in person on a single day and phoned as many outside London. All claimed to be out of stock and most wouldn't even put my name on "the list".

Place to consider watch buying is Jersey. BREXIT - done properly.
