Would someone be kind enough to look at my list of faults?

Hello
So i just kind of panic bought a Disco3 HSE as I was in desperate need of some wheels.
I got it for the right price and am ready to spend some money on it to get it up to a decent level.
I emailed all the faults to myself just now and then cleared them, to see which ones come back and are current.
Would anyone with the right knowledge mind taking a look at them for me?
Many thanks,
Jim

I wouldn't worry too much with that list.

are there any warning lights on the dash ? or error messages?

See what comes back .

MAF and rear wiper are of concern

FBH Lockout caused by low fuel reset that fault and it make sure you keep over 1/4 tank of fuel and it should fire up.

Thanks for the welcome!
Very glad the FBH might be salvageable, It's bloody freezing here!

I have noticed one thing so far though.

I got the engine nice and warm when i test drove it and it appeared fine but once i had driven it for a couple of hours home I noticed that the whole car had a vibration when at a stand still, both in D and P.
There was a loud whirring noise coming from by the glove box too.
Both these symptoms went away as soon as the engine revved up, even the tiniest bit.
Could this be MAF related?

The whirring noise CAN be also the air conditioning blower or compressor. Turn off the fan completely to see whether the noise goes away.

ok thanks. I'll check that next time I'm out in it.

I just went for a quick spin, to show off to my girlfriend, and re read the codes.

The MAF one came back up and also the FBH one;

FBH = B1D29-93 (2E) No start, even after restart attempt - Component failure - no operation

And

P0100-00 (2F) Mass or volume air flow circuit

Should I be worried yet?

Do you have an iid ?

Run a test cycle on the fbh.
This sometimes makes them work.

Check the maf wires from the air box.
And look for a replacement sensor.

Hi Pete K , I am borrowing one at the minute.
Thanks for the tips, I'll get on that asap.
Do you run the test from the IID?

After you cleared the errors - some of them being typical low battery ones - which ones came back?

None of the body audio.or cell phone ones are important.
The ride level etc dissappear ed in mine after I cleared some chocolate under the centre dash switches.

Clean your MAF, Map sensor and block the egr so that they stay clean.

Then clear again and most will dissappear by magic

The problem is the missing documentation, not the LR

If it's not too much hassle then I will post the returning faults up tomorrow, after work.

I just ran the FBH prime and test sequences and both completed successfully, my girlfriend said I smelt like bonfire when i came back into the house... which I took as a good sign Smile

The MAF jobs will have to wait a little while now but I'll do some research in the mean time.

Thanks all involved, I wouldn't buy a car if It didn't have the support of a decent forum and this forum was literally one of my main reasons for going for a disco, already you have proved me right.
