Spaer wheel - which way up?

Hi Guys

Recently had some new tyres fitted to my 66 Disco and I think the tyre fitter has put the spare wheel in the wrong way up.

I thought the alloy was face side up (i.e. the inner dish/cavity pulled up and under the boot floor with the face of the alloy facing down) but now its face side down - is this ok or should I change it around?
"UNDERSTEER" ---is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" -is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" ------------is how far you take the fence with you.

Your should have AdBlue. The AdBlue tank is fitted in the space that became available when the wheel was originally fitted face down in the spare wheel bay at the factory.

You should, however, have a plastic cover over the face of the spare wheel, is that present? It looks like a plastic bin lid, with radial petal like slots cut into it.

I’d say face up. You’d never get an Uncle Ray protector on otherwise.

Could always lower it and see if there’s anything preventing it? Thumbs Up

Yes it has the plastic bin lid over the alloy and yes she has AdBlue so from what you say the alloy is fitted correctly - many thanks Thumbs Up

You will, of course, have ensured that you have an Uncle Ray ScroteStop Spare Wheel Protector installed already?
