It’s not 100% the same (D3 uses a ‘nut’ to lower D4 uses a hook), but yes you need to keep a load on it.MY14 TDV6

It changes further if you have a D4 with Ad blue as it has a plastic cover and a different cable end to the standard D3 oneClub N.E.R.D.S
