Spare/replacement key fob

If I get a replacement 5 button fob with electronics (newer slimline model), what is the best/cheapest option for getting it paired with my car?

Can the bluetooth IID do it?

Yes! And ISTR second hand ones can be reprogrammed, not like D3 that can't. It can when others can't,
