| Spares and Tools for a Discovery 4 to take on an Expedition |

Looking for some advice on what spares and tools to take on our up and coming guided expedition in the Alps. The D4 just had a LR dealer full health check and no problems reported.
I guess I am looking to understand what I might need to replace, what I can realistically replace and what tools I would need to do that. I don't want to take too much but then again, I want to be able to make at least rudimentary repairs if need be.
I guess as a minimum I will be taking screen wash, engine oil, cable ties and WD40.
Any help or advice much appreciated.

I reckon that your not going third world, so don't bother with any spares, but definitely take a decent jack and breaker bar in case of a puncture.

Fuses, bulbs (OEM), gaffer tape.
I keep these in board daily.

basic tool set,
EGR valve blanks as a temporary measure in case one gives up the ghost.

Decent compressor if you're going off-road. Tire deflators are also pretty handy (and cheap). Presume you already have straps and shackles? D3 SE with Hankook MT 275/65/R18, IID BT Tool, ProSpeed rock/tree sliders + compressor guard, RLD sump guard & winch tray + 13,000lb hidden winch, Gearbox guard, Frontrunner 80l aux tank with fuel gauge, V8 brake upgrade, Traxide USI-160 dual battery system, Frontrunner ladder, custom boot storage, Lazer LED driving lights, de-cat exhaust, Aftermarket Oro TPMS, i7 Mac Mini touch screen install (running Windows 10) mirrored on rear screens.

Thanks all for your replies.
Decent compressor, breaker bar and tyre deflator - currently kept in the Defender.
The EGR valves and intercooler pipe were replaced under warranty a couple of months back Bodsy. We are off roading so the shiny D4 may come back with a few dunts and scratches. We took it to an offroad centre a couple of weeks back to remind us that it had a low range box and got some strange looks.

DavidSally we are off with Waypoint tours starting on July 22nd outside Val.
Will check out the standard jack Gareth and see if will be up to the job.
Forgot to ask. Have a spacesaver but bought a spare full size wheel which will go on the rack. Was thinking of ditching the spacesaver. Wise move?

Replace the space saver with a full size alloy and a protector...
Do the D4s suffer the same brakelight switch disease of the D3? If so, one of those too...
